Dr. Smedberg holds a medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine with post graduate training at University Hospital, University of Alabama Birmingham and a fellowship at Office of Chief Medical Examiner, Chapel Hill, N.C. He is Board Certified in Anatomic, Clinical and Forensic Pathology.
Dr. Smedberg is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Dr. Charles Chodorow

Dr. Chodorow received a B.S. in Pharmacy at the University of Florida and then earned his D.O. in Osteopathic Medicine from the Southeastern University of the Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Chodorow is a member of many professional organizations, including the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the American Osteopathic College of Pathologists. He is the medical director of the laboratory at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Dr. Claudia Castro

Dr. Castro holds a medical degree from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. She did post graduate training at Hospital General San Juan de Dios in San Juan and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She did fellowships in Lung pathology at Baylor College of Medicine and Surgical pathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She is Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology.
Before joining Space Coast Pathologists, P.A., Dr. Castro served faculty appointments at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and The University of Texas Medical Branch in Houston. She has authored a number of papers and abstracts.
Dr. Aneal Masih

Dr. Masih graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverdale. He received graduate studies in Biochemistry from Loma Linda University, California, and earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University College of Medicine in Baguio City, Philippines, and completed an Anatomic and Clinical Residency at the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Masih also completed a fellowship in Hematopathology/Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska.
Some of the societies of which Dr. Masih is a member include: the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Hematology. He is the co-medical director of the Anatomical/Clinical Laboratory at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Robert Huberman

Dr. Huberman earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Huberman graduated Cum Laude and earned a Medical Trustee Scholarship before completing his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. After earning his M.D., Dr. Huberman continued his training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He continued his education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston on a Dermatopathology Fellowship.
Dr. Huberman is a member of the International Academy of Pathology, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the College of American Pathologists.
Dr. Joana Faber

Dr. Faber holds her medical degree from Fundacao Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul Campo Grande, MS, Brazil. She did her post graduate residency training at Saint Louis University Medical Center. She did fellowships at Saint Louis University in Surgical Pathology and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Hematopathology.
